Overwegende dat bij het aanvullende protocol bij de Associatieovereenkomst EG-Turkije, dat betrekking heeft op de nieuwe concessies bij de invoer van Turkse landbouwproducten in de Gemeenschap (1), speciale regelingen bij invoer van durumtarwe, kanariezaad, rogge en mout maar van oorsprong uit Turkije, zijn vastgesteld; dat op grond van die regelingen een korting wordt toegepast op de invoerheffing voor durumtarwe en kanariezaad, een vermindering van de invoerheffing voor rogge, op voorwaarde dat Turkije een bijzondere uitvoerheffing toepaste voor dat product, en een vermindering van het vaste element van de invoerheffing voor mout;
Whereas the Additional Protocol to the Agreement creating an Association between the European Economic Community and Turkey on new concessions for imports of Turkish agricultural products into the Community (1) provides for special arrangements for imports of durum wheat and canary grass, rye and malt originating in Turkey; whereas those arrangements grant a reduction in the levy applicable to imports of durum wheat and canary grass, a reduction in the levy applicable to imports of rye, provided that Turkey levies a special export charge on that product, and a reduction in the fixed component of the levy applicable to imports of malt;
