Notes that the legal systems of the Member States, despite their diversity, are based on common principles and share common origins; recalls that, until a few centuries ago, the legal professions in Europe were considered to constitute a unified body of practitioners able to give advice, prepare legal documents and plead before courts in any part of Europe; considers that the legal training policy of the European Union should be inspired by this fact, which shows that the full mobility of legal practitioners is feasible;
6. stellt fest, dass die Rechtssysteme der Mitgliedstaaten trotz ihrer Vielfalt auf gemeinsamen Grundsätzen beruhen und gemeinsame Ursprünge teilen; erinnert daran, dass vor einigen Jahrhunderten die Rechtsberufe in Europa als einheitliche Gesamtheit von Rechtsanwendern betrachtet wurden, die beraten, rechtliche Dokumente vorbereiten und in allen Teilen Europas vor Gericht auftreten konnten; ist der Ansicht, dass die Maßnahmen der Europäischen Union in Bezug auf die juristische Schulung auf diesem Tatbestand aufbauen sollten, der zeigt, dass eine uneingeschränkte Mobilität der Rechtsanwender machbar ist;
